Rev. Dr. Fredrick L. Fairley, Sr. is a fourth-generation Gospel preacher and the Senior Pastor of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Known for his biblical, expositional, and dynamic preaching, he is committed to faithfully preaching the Word as instructed in 2 Timothy 4:2.

 

Born in East Palo Alto and raised in San Bernardino, California, Dr. Fairley has shared the Gospel across the U.S. and internationally in England, Israel, and Jamaica. His academic journey includes studies at San Jose Bible College, Faith Theological Seminary, Oxford University, and the Phoenix University of Theology, where he was honored for his exegetical research.

 

He has taught at the Southwest School of Theology and contributed to the Issachar and “How Shall They Hear” Preaching Conferences. Dr. Fairley is also a two-time contributor to Oxford Sermons Volumes III and IV.

 

Under his leadership, St. John MBC is committed to Exalting the Savior, Explaining the Scripture, and Equipping the Saints. He is joyfully married to Angela Marie Fairley of Harrisburg, PA, and they are proud parents of five. His life’s mission is to bring good to others and glory to God.
